About The Event

Many people think that meditation means sitting still, eyes closed as the only option, but this retreat will help break that notion as well as help participants find what WORKS for them!

Kim Weatherbee will lead you through the “portals of mindfulness” and several varied types of meditation. You will leave having had a deep experience of BEING, presence and being alive mindfully. You will also understand how to employ mindfulness in your life, and what type of meditation would work best as a practice for you at this point in your journey.

 We will also spend a session of Equine Assisted Mindfulness with Kim’s equine partners on the farm. Horses LIVE in-the-moment, their energy is expansive, and they are incredible mirrors into humans minds and hearts.

This retreat will cover:

  • The science behind WHY these applications literally rewire the brain and HOW that creates a lasting impact in your life.
  • Exercises of self-love bringing complete acceptance to our beautiful selves. 
  • Walking meditations, yoga, dance, drumming…and JOY!
  • Intro session into Equine Assisted Mindfulness
  • How to meditate and cultivate mindful presence without having to sit still!
  • In this retreat, you will learn both the how and why of mindfulness and meditation, as well as have embodied the exercises and decide what to employ in your life back home.
