Pickerel Lake Park - Fred Meijer Nature
Mid-Winter Shamanic Journey Walk
Celebrate the beauty of the mid-winter! A shamanic journey walk is one in which we take a walk in a forest--which alone has healing value. We will open ourselves up to the truth, wisdom, and guidance in nature--and in ourselves. Most find it to be a magical experience.

About The Event
Every Shaman Walk is different--with different intentions or "themes", but we generally do this:
1–We meet at the park map in the parking lot. Michele is the joyful one with the drum.
2–Michele gives an overview and we have introductions.
3–We start our walk together then head to a private spot where Michele does some centering and smudging.
4–We set an intention and go off in our own walk, alone
5–Michele stays back and drums and calls upon spirit!
6–You wander for 15-30 minutes.
7–When you return Michele rattles each person and talks with them (you may write, talk to others, or watch)
8–We talk as a group for a bit
9--Michele drums and we conclude.
Wear clothes appropriate for the weather, bring bug dope and water bottle, leave devices and food in the car, and bring a journal and pen for taking notes. Michele will bring special paper and pens if there is some scrying work to be done! Also, please refrain from mind-altering substances for at least 24 hours prior to our walk.
We walk in all weather conditions--except those that are life-threatening (tornado, lightning, duratio winds, blizzard, etc.). We will cancel the walk four hours prior and alert all who have registered. If we cancel, all who have purchased a ticket will receive a refund. We will only issue refunds if we cancel the event; if you cannot attend after purchasing your ticket, we will issue you a credit toward a future Shamama event or service. Thank you for understanding.
