Free Introduction to Breathwork (Online)
Modern research and ancient texts all point to one thing: there is nothing more important to our health than breathing! Join Breathwork facilitator, Michele Lussky, for an overview of seven essential conscious breathing techniques that can help you physically, emotionally, and mentally!
Time & Location
Jan 22, 2021, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
About The Event
1) Wear comfortable clothes that don't restrict your breathing (avoid belts, constricting bras, etc.)
2) Please smudge your home and its contents (including people and pets) and procure a mat, blanket, pillow, eye pillow/blindfold (or towel/handkerchief), water bottle and two rocks for grounding.
3) You may experience cathartic release such as crying, screaming, moaning, laughing, or even howling. Please notify your neighbors and roommates of this possibility beforehand. We also recommend having a pillow handy for screaming into.
4 ) We advise no mind-altering substances (alcohol, etc.) 24 hours prior to breathwork
6) No heavy meal for two hours prior.
7) We advise healing elements for aftercare like: herbal teas, epsom salt baths, journaling, listening to beautiful music, drinking water, cuddling, aromatherapy, reading positive text (poetry, scripture, etc.) sitting by a fire, napping, high vibration snacks, and walking in nature.
8) Breathwork is contraindicated for those who are in the third trimester of pregnancy or who have: severe asthma, severe heart disease, mental illness, epilepsy/history of seizures, acute physical injuries, severe diabetes.
